Valley Dental Care is proud to be affiliated with multiple insurance companies as a preferred provider. We accept most major insurance companies including Metlife, Cigna, Humana, Aetna, United Healthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Compdent, Unicare, Principle Life, Connecticut General, Ameritas, Assurant, and Delta Dental. If you do not see your insurance company listed, please call our office and ask a staff member if we accept yours.

As a courtesy to you, our office will submit your claims to your insurance company and work to achieve the maximum reimbursement to which you are entitled. If necessary, our office will contact your insurance carrier on your behalf, however, with the federal privacy laws placed on healthcare offices, we ask for your assistance.

We do not have access to your insurance records and therefore can not always track your remaining benefits for each year. Your insurance company is always happy to share that information with you, the policy holder.

Our office remains dedicated to providing the optimal care for every patient and working with you to achieve that goal. We pride ourselves on helping you in anyway and continuing to provide the quality of care for which you have become accustomed.

Care Credit

Because your smile is important to us we proudly offer Care Credit. Care Credit is a healthcare credit card specifically designed to pay for dental procedures and treatment not covered by your insurance company. Care Credit has two unique features. Every Care Credit transaction is eligible for a no interest (if paid within the promotional time period) or low fixed interest payment plan. Valley Dental Care offers up to six (6) months free financing. As a leader in healthcare financing Care Credit has helped millions of patients afford the care they want and need.

With Care Credit you can pay for co-payments, deductibles, and treatment not covered by your insurance policy. You can start treatment immediately and pay over time with low monthly payments. You can reserve your existing credit cards for household use or unplanned expenses and usually at a lower interest rate.

Dental insurance is a contract between your employer and the insurance company. Benefits are based on which plan benefit your employer purchases on your behalf. The goal of the insurance company and your employer is to provide basic coverage for specific procedures and services to keep the premium cost down. Therefore, the services that are paid for are based on the cost of the policy to your employer and not what may always be best for you or your oral health. Most insurance policies are based on the American Dental Association recommendations for general dental basic care. The reimbursement mechanism from your insurance company is merely a mathematical formula they use to determine the amount of benefit or percentage of the service that will be paid.

You can apply on line at CareCredit.com or call (800) 365-8295, or ask one of our front office staff to assist you with the application process.
